Mugabe illness threatening ZANU leadership

President Robert Mugabe
Although his Excellency the President is purported to being very healthy and urging Zimbabweans to be weary of their diet, age is however taking its toll. The President is said to be gravely ill in Singapore ad actually is failing to come back due t his deteriorating health. Could this mark the end of the long standing Zimbabwean political part since even before independence? Robert Mugabe has managed to hold the party intact since becoming the President of the party after Sithole in the late 1960s till to the present day. Divisions have threatened to erupt in the party but the Mugabe has managed to hold his fort together successfully. However Kasukuwere believes that in order for ZANU PF  to survive, Mugabe and his elderly crew must vacate the seat and let young and fresh faced people like Simba Makoni and Sekeramayi. Of all the political leaders , he has managed to maintain control, comparing him to the opposition MDC, which has been divide into multiple factions because Tsvangirai has failed to keep MDC together. It is obvious to believe that a scramble for power is likely to erupt and who precisely will be able to keep the party together. The demise of Mugabe from the party is only going to weaken ZANU PF and create political advantage for the opposition.
